The project will feature 78 whole-ownership condominiums, retail shops, restaurants, a public lobby area, an ice skating rink and 310 underground parking spaces – 200 of which are public spaces. “Located at the current Crossroads of Vail, just steps from North America’s No. 1 ski resort, Solaris will redefine the Rocky Mountain lifestyle,” Solaris says. “[The residences] blend elegance and excellence. They merge cosmopolitan convenience and unparalleled service with five-star amenities and breathtaking Vail Mountain views.” According to vaildaily.com, the retailers at the site will be “a mix of everything,” such as art galleries, clothing stores, an ice cream shop and two restaurants. Cobb Theatres CineBistro will operate the movie theater – which will include a full-service restaurant and also allow patrons to have food and drinks served to them at their seats. In September, Craig Cohn, the project’s director of sales and marketing, told vaildaily.com that 65 percent of the commercial space at the development is either negotiated or in the final stage of negotiation. According to Solaris, there is a total of 70,000 square feet available for lease, ranging from 800 to 5,000 square feet. Two-thirds of the condominiums are sold. The units range from 1,200 to 6,500 square feet.
