PRODUCT SHOWCASE Commercial 1. A Head Above the Rest The first of its kind in the marketplace, the new Craftsman NEXTEC 12-volt lithium-ion hammerhead auto hammer can nail nails up to 3.5 inches in length. It has a weight of only 1.86 pounds and is ideal for nailing in tight areas where swinging is restricted and for overhead applications. The hammer nails at 3,600 impacts per minute and features a retractable nail sleeve that covers the impact mechanism and retracts during use to ensure flush finishes. A magnetic head holds nails up to 7/16th inches wide. It is made with a soft-grip handle for increased comfort and grip and has a LED work light to illuminate the work area. For more information, visit 2. Staying Straight The Irwin straight-line Mach6 chalk reel is designed with a powerful 6-to-1 helical gear system. Irwin invented the chalk reel in 1960 and says this is the fastest, toughest and most innovative reel in the industry. It retrieves line six times faster than traditional reels. The line stretches to 100 feet and is made of polyester/nylon that is two times more durable than a regular polyester line. The line delivers five to six strikes per pull. With a metal body, steel handle and larger center clutch, it is designed for unrivaled durability. To learn more, visit HAND TOOLS 1. 2. 3. 3. Keeping Clean Contractors are now able to spend more time working and less time performing prep and cleanup duties because of the Hilti TE DRS-B dust removal system. It clips easily onto demolition hammers and reduces the operator’s exposure to dust. The TE DRS-B captures heavy and fine dust with a twochamber air-flushing vacuum system, which collects dust from the working surface and removes dust from the end of the tool. An inner ring prevents intake of large pieces of concrete and other materials that could block the system. It is made of rubber to provide a long service life under rugged working conditions. It is ideal for demolition, surface renovation, excavation and other breaking applications that generate dust.
