Last year, Bozzuto's charitable action
committee, Bozzuto Cares, launched CauseCast, an engagement platform that allows
employees to search, share and create charitable opportunities they can personally
champion in the communities where they
live and work.
In 2016, the company created Bozzuto
Voices, an employee feedback program
that encourages employees of all levels to
submit concerns, innovations, questions
and compliments about the company
or worksite. In addition, Bozzuto Listens
allows residents to give feedback on their
community through private messages or
public comments on the property's Yelp or
Apartment Ratings page. Private messag-
es are sent to the property, regional and
executive leadership teams for immediate
response and remedy.
Bozzuto believes that protecting the environment is its responsibility. From developing LEED-certified buildings to implementing recycling programs at the properties it
manages, the company follows sustainable

In 2016, Bozzuto formed a partnership
with the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Energy Star program to help
lead an energy efficiency movement. The
program is designed to help individuals,
families and businesses save energy while
reducing their impact on the environment.
Bozzuto volunteered to help the EPA
work to improve energy efficiency and fight
climate change through strategic, corporate
energy management, education and awareness programs.
In 2014, Bozzuto's retail donation drive,
FwdYourFashion, set a Goodwill northeast
regional record for community donations. Partnering with other businesses,
Bozzuto collected gently used and new
clothing, shoes and accessories.. It helped
raise more than 50,000 pounds of donated
clothing. "Not only did this donation benefit
those in need, but also saved these items
from creating unneeded waste in local
landfills," the company stated.
