overlooks the lake with doors that open
onto a Romeo and Juliet type of balcony."

The building's amenities include a
worship chapel for all faiths, a café, hair
salon, movie theater, arts and crafts area,
computer lab, and a fitness center with
daily assisted exercise programs. There
also is a pub and full-service bar on the

service. It is located within a quarter-mile
of a library, city hall and the city marina.
Transportation to local services is

system. In addition, Lakeshore will
provide private services and three meals a
day to residents. A home healthcare staff
member will be available to visit residents
in their private apartments to assist them
with things like bathing, dressing and
medication reminders. One-bedroom
independent units will start at $3,300 per
month and two-bedroom units at $3,600
The building is the former site of an
abandoned church and school. The project
required the demolition of all existing
buildings and a relocation of a sewer
pipeline. "It was necessary to relocate the
county drain and since it's so close to the
lake, it was complex," says Don Webb,
senior project manager.
Cunningham-Limp is also rebuilding
two little league baseball fields as a part
of the senior living community project.
Lakeshore Senior Living donated that
land to the city.
