another high-profile project in St. Clair
Construction on the new multimillion-dollar Lakeshore Senior Living facility
is nearing completion, with a projected
opening sometime this winter. Promoted
as a high-end building with an affordable
price tag, the 143,000-square-foot building
sits at a scenic location. "Its unique feature
is that it's located right off of Lake St. Clair so
that a number of units and common areas
will have beautiful lakeside views," Cypress
Partners Project Manager Jeff Buck says.
The building features a mixture of oneand two-bedroom floor plans and houses
a 25,000-square-foot Alzheimer's care unit.
Out of the 140 total units, 22 are dedicated to
memory care. "What's nice about having the
memory care wing is that if someone moves
in as an independent, and later in life they
have memory issues, they can transfer to the
memory care unit," Buck says.
