The independent and assisted living wings in each building are
two stories, and the skilled nursing area is one story.
Both buildings include precast concrete parking garages. Colonial
Village and Terrace Glen Village feature a wood frame and exterior
that includes aluminum doors, vinyl windows and a combination
metal and laminate shingle roof.
Each CCRC project includes large amenity areas with community spaces such as libraries, activity and craft areas, salons, billiard
rooms and spaces for gatherings. The buildings also include large
chapels, as well as movie rooms with 86-inch television screens.
The framed wall panels for Colonial Village are being fabricated
off-site and shipped to the construction location. Using prefabricated wall panels saves HDC time as well as labor. "Finding labor is a
